Halloween mufty

today it was mufti the theme was Halloween because its the Halloween i didn't come in one because i did not wont to

We made done our first art of the was our pencil art work we drawed   what we did in the holidays i drawed me playing my Xbox and sleeping in .

The 2 week holiday ended and we had to come back to school and just because it was the first day back we still had to do work we done it was just the same as the original Mondays .when i first walk in the gates i felt nervous,shy and scared at the same time .

My volcano is almost finished and all i need to do is make my lava and im done yay finally i put sand on mine and it looks better and cool.

My paper mache volcano is getting bigger

My paper mache is looking better and bigger today i was putting alot more glue onto it there were lots more even more then the other day we were dipping our hands in to the glue is was very warm i was putting more onto it more and more newspaper and glue.

Our Duffy role model was Georgia hale she played touch rugby and shes even in the silver ferns she plays lots of sports during the show she even let us feel and see her jersey 

MAKING PAPER MACHE VOLCANOES

In the after noon Room 9 and i were making paper mache we had lots of fun making it what was easy about making was when we were dumping newspaper in the glue and connecting it to our bottles when i was doing it we ran out of glue so we went to other tables and used there it was funny  

My favourite game on top marks

 As you can see the name of my favourite game on top marks is Hit the Button and i also i learnt lots of thing about times table and some not that hard and kinda easy and my favourite times table is 10,5,9 and  8  because thats what i enjoy to learn.

This is fact family's and what i have learnt is that there is always are answer for just three number like say 30,33 and 3 see look 33 - 3 = 30 or 30 + 3 = 33 and 33 - 3 = 30 also and here's some pictures and  is linked to fact family's 

Samoan-most special thing to me and my family culture

The most special thing that my family would say is that we are proud to be Samoans and that we are always blessed. Also we like the clear beach's also the nice water when we go there we always go swimming because it is very hot and they have tasty drinks and yum  food there are coconut trees they are very high we have to climb to get them  and big mountains and we have cool pasterns for tattoos and when it's sunset its beautiful view   

ROOM 9's ASSEMBLY

On Friday 28th July we had our first term 3 assembly it was cool and fun i was introducing the assembly i was scared and shy at the same time and we also read some readings  out it was about 4 of values FUN-INTEGRITY-RESPECT-EXCELLENCE witch spells out F-I-R-E  

on Thursday 27 July 2017 we had student led conference its when we show our parents our school work   like our tests and our reading activity. Also basic facts and show our reading writing and maths levels.

Last day of term 2

On the last day of the term we had pizza for lunch if we wanted to get pizza we had to bring $2.50 and buddy up with someone in our class or bring $5.00 for your own pizza to yourself .And thanks to our cool teacher she had some lollies! for us thank you miss Ly 

On Tuesday after school  we had a Whanau hui it was fun teaching my Mum how to use it i felt Nerves but  i remembered to just be myself but when i reached the end i felt awesome and proud of myself and my Mum for coming and taking her time off to come. But thanks to my teacher for staying up to make sure  and taking her time off to.

Hi am P.J this is my favourite place because i love playing basketball and my favourite basketball team is Golden state because they made it in the finals and they beat the cavaliers and won the golden rings  and  in my family the most sports will be basket ball  to be honest and there is also a new person in Golden state and he received a Golden ring also he is good curry almost got a air ball but then he jumped and scored

 

Hi and welcome to my blog. My name is PJ i am attending Glen Taylor School. I am a year six student in Room 9. I am ten years old. I’m Samoan but I was born in New Zealand and I have four brothers but I only have one sister. My favourite subject is writing but i’m not the best at it. I have very cool parents and they are like diamonds. One of my brothers is only one years old! My other brother comes to this school and my sister does too. My big brother is a teenager, he used to come here and he has lots of memories. My other brother is seventeen and he has a job. Another one is 16 and my other brother is 7 and my sister is 6 - they both attend GTS.
